Enerfin Resources Company and its affiliated operating entities own and operate natural gas pipelines, compression, processing plants, treating facilities, and oil & gas production. The Company is privately held and currently has operating locations in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Oregon.

We are currently seeking a Director ‐ Project Development & Construction to join our dynamic team of professionals. This newly created position will report to the Managing Director and will be based in our Houston corporate office located in the Energy Corridor. This “hands‐on” position will be responsible for the management and development of natural gas and petro. liquids gathering and transportation projects from inception. The position is responsible for delivering successful capital projects that meet scope, budget and schedule metrics plus other parameters unique to the project or organization through effective initiation and planning. Requires coordination and direction of estimating, project controls, engineering, design, procurement, construction, ROW & land acquisition, permitting, pre‐commissioning, startup, and transition to operations. The position requires leading internal and external resources and communicating throughout the company as well as with external vendors, contractors and customers.


  • Support the review/assessment of prospective gas and/or liquids projects with senior management team;
  • Provide knowledge and expertise in the assessment of project opportunities, alternatives and costs;
  • Provide project design, engineering, capital & operating costs estimates, and other project due diligence or requisite project info. to support project economic evaluations;
  • Provide project plans and details to ensure all company, industry and regulatory standards are met;
  • Present projects with management team members for preliminary executive management approval;
  • Present projects with management team members to obtain producer/customer commitments;
  • Upon customer approval, finalize project design, engineering, cost estimates, time tables and other project requirements for final management approval;
  • Manage all aspects of project implementation, including design/layout, ROW/land and permit acquisition, materials & equipment procurement, and construction and installation of natural gas and petro. liquids pipelines, compression, pumps, measurement equipment, tanks and related facilities;
  • Effectively manage project budgets, timelines and problem resolution related to multiple projects;
  • Function as a chief inspector or coordinate with appropriate personnel on multiple projects;
  • Pre‐commission and Transition completed projects to operations team to efficiently integrate with existing company midstream assets;
  • Coordinate or assist with other midstream projects as directed by senior management.

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field;
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in the management of midstream natural gas and liquids business, including construction & installation of natural gas and petro. liquids midstream pipelines & facilities;
  • A demonstrated technical knowledge and operating experience of natural gas liquids systems and infrastructure;
  • Requisite knowledge of all regulatory requirements of natural gas and petro. liquids pipeline facilities;
  • Working knowledge and understanding of commercial aspects of midstream gas and petro. liquids business;
  • Demonstrated ability to function with CEO & COO level and other senior managers in a team environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
